For the last 15 years Redmans Hardware has been under the management of Peter Lane. In that time most local hardware stores have been wiped out by the large warehouses like Bunnings. Luckily thanks to the support of the local community and the lack of a large store nearby, Redmans has managed to survive and prosper. Hopefully with the continued support of the local people we will be here for many years to come.

Many of our customers hate the drive to Bunnings and the time wasted trying to get advice and also find the product they are looking for, and continually remind us that there is still a spot in the market for the little convenience store. Also it is now known that Bunnings are not any cheaper than us and quite often are more expensive.
